INTRØDUCING: SK8 PØINTS

Pretty much every business has some sort of loyalty program. We knew we’d eventually join the masses, but we wanted to make ours a little bit more exciting than just “get your 10th coffee free.” That’s why we’re finally implementing SK8 Points:

$1 spent = 1 SK8 PØint

100 SK8 PØints = $5 Øff

While the basis for SK8 Points is pretty simple, we’ve also created a few extra perks to the system. The standout part of our loyalty program is our 3-tier structure that’s built to reward the biggest skaters in the community. These tiers are determined by how much you “support your local skate shop” every year and have their own multiplier, one-time reward, and birthday gifts.

S TIER

YEARLY SPEND: $100-$499

EARN RATE: $1 = 1 point

1-TIME GIFT: Free sticker

B-DAY GIFT: 100 points

K TIER

YEARLY SPEND: $500-$999

EARN RATE: $1 = 1.5 points

1-TIME GIFT: Free griptape

B-DAY GIFT: 150 points

8 TIER

YEARLY SPEND: $1,000+

EARN RATE: $1 = 2 points

1-TIME GIFT: Free grip for life

B-DAY GIFT: 200 points

Regardless of tier, every 100 SK8 Points earns you $5 off. For those that want to bank their points, alternative rewards are offered. Those who save up 500 SK8 Points can choose to get up to $25 off or redeem them for a free shop tee ($30 value). Those who save up 1,000 SK8 Points can choose to get up to $50 off or redeem them for a free shop deck and griptape ($80 value).

Unredeemed SK8 Points expire one year after they’re earned. You’ll receive a reminder about expiring points two weeks before they disappear, giving you plenty of time to check what new gear you might need. You can even donate old gear to our Big Brother Program to earn extra SK8 Points. Higher tier multipliers even apply to SK8 Points earned by donating old gear.
